About the Artist

In her Artist Statement, Judy explains:

I paint the pain. I paint the joy.

I paint the grief. I paint the fear.

I paint out loud to give voice to the child who was seen but never heard.

I paint on purpose. I paint on accident.

I paint to be present and to disappear.

I paint to remind myself I’m here.

I paint to connect, to touch, to give.

I paint because God gave me the will to live.

And now I live to paint.

Her process is described in detail in her Artist Statement.
